The Boston Condors topped the Las Vegas Gamblers, 11-1, in Independent action at Las Vegas Grounds. The game was highlighted by the performance of Boston designated hitter Jean Raynaud. Miguel Rivera, the winning pitcher, improved to 5-1. He pitched 8 innings, giving up 8 hits and 1 run, while striking out 3 and walking 2. The win puts the Condors at 17-19, while the Gamblers drop to 21-15.
