Alex Sandoval pitched well, but his team, the Las Vegas Gamblers, still dropped a 4-3 decision to the Boston Condors at Condors Park. The winner in relief was Mike Skiles. He is now 1-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. Boston raised its record to 31-30 with the win.

Boston took a 4-3 lead on Adam Corbett's 7th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Corbett hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Las Vegas pitcher Alex Sandoval visibly frustrated.
