| Gamblers Prevail, 4-2, Over Vancouver | Mario Villalobos, who is tied for 2nd in the IL in strikeouts with 126, was locked in. The right-hander led the Las Vegas Gamblers to a 4-2 win against the Vancouver Orcas at Las Vegas Grounds. Villalobos picked up the win for Las Vegas, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 8-5. Las Vegas now sports a record of 39-36.
In the bottom of the second inning, second baseman Carlos Cruz had a 2-run home run for Las Vegas. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Gamblers on top, 3-1.
