Ducks Earn Late 3-2 Win
Houston got a valiant performance from pitcher Fletcher Regush, but it wasn't enough to beat the Portland Ducks. Portland won the game, 3-2. Regush threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Houston's current losing streak is now 4 games.

Portland used the timely hitting of Derek Darby to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Ducks on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Darby said after the game.
