 | Las Vegas Takes Division Series in Deciding Game Thursday, August 12th , 2027 Federal Baseball League fans were certainly not disappointed with this Independent Division Series. The two teams were evenly matched and the series went to the final game, with the Las Vegas Gamblers prevailing over the Minneapolis Marauders to advance to the Championship Series. Las Vegas won the final game by a score of 5-3 at Las Vegas Grounds and that sealed the series 3-2. "Things were tense in our clubhouse and dugout before and during this game, but we can let loose a bit now -- the hard work is over, for now," said center fielder Victor Ramos, who earned MVP honors. For the series, Ramos hit .524 with a .524 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, 9 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Las Vegas Gamblers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the New York Empire - Jacksonville Jackals series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
