 | Olsen Selected Top Rookie This Year Tuesday, September 14th , 2027 New York rookie starter Greg Olsen has a new addition to his trophy case after the Independent presented him with the 2027 Rookie of the Year Award today. In 15 starts he ran up a 12-2 won-lost mark and 1.85 ERA. In 112 innings the Empire rookie fanned 118 and walked 26. He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Bruce Morrisey of the San Antonio Wranglers finished second in voting, while Antonio Lima of the New York Empire finished third.
