| Rangers Mow Down Toltecs, 9-1 | Leon had no answer for Houston Rangers starter Jorge Rodriquez, who flummoxed Toltecs hitters as the Rangers cruised to victory, 9-1. The Rangers raised their record to 48-54.
Houston second baseman David Johnson contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a changeup to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 111st hit of the season and put the Rangers ahead, 4-1.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Rodriquez said.
