| Longhurst, Marauders Sink Gamblers Again in Game 2 | Riding the 2-hit performance of center fielder Damien Longhurst, the Minneapolis Marauders got a road win against the Las Vegas Gamblers, 6-5, in Game 2 of the Division Series. Longhurst was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Marauders , who now lead the best-of-5 series, 2 games to 0.
Longhurst had a consequential at-bat in the top of the fifth for the Marauders . Coming up with runners on 1st and 2nd and Minneapolis trailing 1-0, he hit a 3-run home run.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Longhurst.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Las Vegas Grounds in Las Vegas.
