| Gamblers Turn Back Marauders , 6-4 | The Las Vegas Gamblers handed the Minneapolis Marauders a 6-4 defeat at Las Vegas Grounds. Right Fielder Ryan Burnett starred for Las Vegas. He was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Las Vegas leads the Independent South Division by 3 games.
Burnett had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-0 cutter from Francisco Duran, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Gamblers a 6-4 lead. It was the 9th home run of the year for Burnett.
"Feels good to get the job done," Burnett said after the game.
