Las Vegas got an elite performance from starting pitcher Alex Sandoval in securing a 1-0 decision over the Minneapolis Marauders . Earning his 14th save for Las Vegas was Joe Childers. Las Vegas leads the Independent South Division by 3 games.

Sandoval was the winner. He's now 5-8, after putting the Minneapolis offense in a vise grip. Over 8 innings, he gave up no runs on 4 hits, while racking up 7 Ks.
