| With 7-3 Win, Gamblers Improve to 42-38 | The Las Vegas Gamblers defeated the Orlando Orange, 7-3, at Las Vegas Grounds. Dave Solorio, who finished 3rd in the IL in triples with 5 in 2024, was a standout performer for Las Vegas. His 2 hits included 1 single and 1 double -- this in addition to the 1 run he scored and 3 he knocked in. With the win, the Gamblers sit at 42-38.
The Gamblers got a big at-bat from center fielder Victor Ramos. For the game, Ramos went 1-3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 20th double of the season gave Las Vegas a 4-3 lead.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Ramos.
