| Solorio Homers Twice in 10-3 Gamblers Win | The Las Vegas Gamblers saddled the Jacksonville Jackals with a loss at Jackals Stadium. The final score was 10-3. Dave Solorio was 4 for 5, including 2 singles and 2 home runs. The Las Vegas left fielder scored 3 runs and drove in 6. Matthew Pitts earned his 2nd save in 3 chances. The first-place Gamblers have a one-game lead in their division.
With Las Vegas leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Solorio hit a cutter from Dan Howatt for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Gamblers ahead, 4-0.
"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Solorio told the Las Vegas Daily News.
