| Condors Edge Marauders , 3-2 | The Boston Condors weathered a fine game by Minneapolis first baseman Alex Ruiz to upend the Marauders , 3-2, at Condors Park. Ruiz was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. By defeating Minneapolis, the 4th-place Condors improved to 46-54.
Joe Dreisbach went 1-3 with a double for Boston. The 25-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jerry Gomez. It was his 45th RBI of the season.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Dreisbach told the Boston Times.
