| Gamblers Rally to Eke Out Win | The Las Vegas Gamblers topped the Orlando Orange, 4-3, in Independent action at Orange Park. The standout performance belonged to Las Vegas pitcher and Juchitan, Mexico, native Bobby Juarez. Joe Childers got the save, the 28th for him this season. Las Vegas leads the Independent South Division by 3½ games.
Las Vegas relied on the bat of Victor Ramos to get the win. The center fielder ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the tenth inning to put the Gamblers ahead, 4-3. For the game, Ramos had 1 double and 1 triple in 4 at-bats.
"When you are able to locate the ball, good things are going to happen," said Juarez.
