| Jackals Earn 7-2 Home Win | The home crowd had a good time watching the Boston Condors and Jacksonville Jackals get after it.
Dave Smith, who led the IL in innings pitched with 167.2 in 2024, had a strong outing for the Jacksonville Jackals against the Boston Condors at Jackals Stadium. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-2 win. Boston drops to 5-6.
Alex Villegas drew 1 walk for Jacksonville. The slugging second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Manny Chavez. It was his 7th walk of the season.
