Nick Beck left his imprint on the 7-6 Portland win against the Leon Toltecs. Beck, who is tied for 5th in the UL in triples with 3, was 3-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 5 RBI. Portland is now 31-41, while Leon is 30-42.

Portland used the clutch hitting of Matt McAllister to snag the win. The catcher drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Ducks ahead, 7-6. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a crucial one.

"We got the victory," said McAllister. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
