Queens Win Thriller, 5-4 | The Denver Queens snuck past the Leon Toltecs, 5-4, in 12 innings. Denver catcher Jeff Short, in particular, had a standout performance. Denver pitcher Christian Nold got the win. He's now 4-0. Daniel Herrera was tagged with the loss. The Queens improved their record to 36-40 by beating Leon.
The Queens got a clutch hit from designated hitter Jamie Biederman. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Queens.
