| Toltecs Sneak Past Queens, 3-2 | Leon and Denver played a hard-fought contest.
The Toltecs grabbed a win, 3-2, at Queens Field, overcoming a fine effort from Denver pitcher Serge Garnier. Garnier went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Jon Lukacs picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Joe Roop suffered the loss.
Kevin Fiorita aided the Leon cause with a 2-run single in the top of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman was 1-3. He drove in 2 runs.
"There are no moral victories," said losing manager David Fields.
The Toltecs now have a record of 34-44 with the win over Denver.
