| Marauders Win at Arlington, 3-2 | Opening day festivities have begun throughout the league. Fans of the Arlington Sentinels were eager to watch Luis Salazar square off against Colin Denman of the visiting Minneapolis Marauders . In the end, the Marauders won the game, 3-2, with Colin Denman leading the way. Earning his 1st save for Minneapolis was B.J. Howe.
Minneapolis used a well-timed hit by Jorge Hernandez to capture the win. The right fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the third inning to put the Marauders ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.
Denman called the win a test of his team's "mettle."
