| Blitzed by Lopez, Ducks, Hawks Sink Further in DS | Riding the 2-hit performance of left fielder Francisco Lopez, the Portland Ducks got a road win against the Chicago Hawks, 11-6, in Game 2 of the Division Series. Lopez was 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Ducks, who now lead the best-of-5 series, 2 games to 0.
The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Lopez hit a grand slam home run off Derrick Hightower. It propelled the Ducks into the lead, 7-6.
"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Lopez.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Hawks Park in Chicago.
