| Sentinels Slip Past Jacksonville, 3-2 | Jacksonville got a valiant performance from pitcher Nick Sorensen, but it wasn't enough to beat the Arlington Sentinels. Arlington won the game, 3-2. Sorensen threw 8.2 innings of 5-hit ball for the losing team. The 4th-place Sentinels improved to 22-26.
Arlington used the timely hitting of Eddie Stone to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Sentinels on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"That was fun, that was just good baseball," said Stone.
