| Wranglers Suffer 2-1 Road Loss | Condors Park was the site of a competitive game between the San Antonio Wranglers and Boston Condors.
The Boston Condors got a strong performance from pitcher Alberto Vasquez, who stymied the San Antonio offense en route to a win, 2-1, at Condors Park. Vasquez, now 5-5, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 6, walking 0, and allowing no runs.
Oscar Aguilera had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the seventh for Boston. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Boston in front, 2-0.
"Alberto did a good job keeping the game under control," said Boston manager David Fields.
The Wranglers, at 24-33, have lost 5 straight games.
