| Arlington Wins, 6-3, Behind 2 Gonzalez Home Runs | A 3-RBI performance from right fielder Alex Gonzalez, who is tied for 9th in the IL in stolen bases with 11, led the Arlington Sentinels to a win over the San Antonio Wranglers, 6-3. Ramon Garcia was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 2 of 2 save opportunities. The last-place Wranglers have lost 5 consecutive games.
Dave Dickmann had a big 2-run double for the Sentinels in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Arlington leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Justin Suchland and swatted a double to left. It was his 20th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Sentinels ahead, 6-3.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Dickmann.
