Marauders Lose to Evergeens in Walk-Off | With designated hitter Josh Johnson leading the charge, the Seattle Evergeens defeated the Minneapolis Marauders , 5-4, at Evergeens Grounds. Johnson, who is tied for 8th in the IL with a .393 on-base percentage, went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. Rob Saunders snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-0 on the season. B.J. Howe suffered the loss. The win gives Seattle a season record of 46-32.
Marco Zuniga was the walk-off hero for Seattle. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Evergeens center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
