| Marauders Suffer 8-7 Home Defeat | The Orlando Orange scored a tight, 8-7 win versus the Minneapolis Marauders at Marauders Field. Orlando pitcher Aaron Staff held his own in the contest. The Marauders , now 3-9, continue their sluggish start.
Orlando used the timely hitting of Brandon Benner to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Orange on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"It never gets old," said Staff. "Winning, that is."
