| Marauders Drop Gamblers, 3-2 | The Minneapolis Marauders took Las Vegas pitcher Bobby Juarez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Las Vegas Grounds. The final score had Minneapolis getting past the Gamblers, 3-2. Juarez went 7.1 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 12. B.J. Howe picked up his 22nd save of the season. The victory gives Minneapolis a record of 51-45.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Damien Longhurst? The Minneapolis center fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Marauders on top, 3-1. For the game, Longhurst had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
After the game, Minneapolis manager David Fields applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
