| Slumping Sentinels Lose Again | The Jacksonville Jackals pinned a convincing loss on the Arlington Sentinels, 10-1, at Jackals Stadium. Tony Rangel was a main factor in the win. He went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Jacksonville. The win was credited to 24-year old right-handed pitcher Brandon Paige in relief. His record improves to 5-1. Willie Castro took the loss. The Sentinels, now 50-51, have lost 7 straight.
Jacksonville got a big at-bat from Tijuana, Mexico native Alex Villegas, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 19th double of the season and put the Jackals ahead, 9-0.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Villegas.
