Cruz goes 4-for-5 to Power Gamblers Offense
Carlos Cruz left his imprint on the 8-0 Las Vegas win against the San Antonio Wranglers. Cruz, who is tied for 8th in the IL in hits with 113, went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times. With the victory, the Gamblers upped their record to 58-46.

Las Vegas center fielder Victor Ramos contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a slider to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 97th hit of the season and put the Gamblers ahead, 2-0.

"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager David Fields.
