| Sentinels Victors, 6-2, at Seattle | Luis Salazar, who leads the IL in complete games with 1, propelled his team to victory over the Seattle Evergeens. The final score was 6-2, Arlington. Salazar, now 12-5, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. The Sentinels saw their win-loss record go to 52-56. At the same time, the Evergeens fell to 58-50.
Arlington used a well-timed hit by Justin Buckley to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Sentinels ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Salazar.
