Hawks Absorb 5-3 Home Loss | Denver pitcher Sean Spotton did his part in helping his team beat the Chicago Hawks, 5-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The win gives Denver a record of 7-3.
Denver took a 5-2 lead on Seth Gonzales's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Gonzales hit in the top of the seventh, left Chicago pitcher Jonathan Almaguer visibly frustrated.
"This was a good win," said Gonzales. | | | | |
