| Ducks Lose at Home, 7-4 | Hawks center fielder Rogelio Romero left his mark on his team's 7-4 win over the Portland Ducks. Romero, who finished 5th in the IL in stolen bases with 29 in 2025, was 3-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for Chicago in the contest. The win brings the Hawks to 13-8, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
Chicago used a well-timed hit by Sergio Munoz to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Hawks ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"It feels good, just a great win all around," Munoz said after the game.
