| Mounties Lose at Home, 5-1 | The Denver Queens defeated the Toronto Mounties, 5-1, in part because of shortstop Jamie Biederman. Biederman hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Queens. Denver now sits at 21-20, while Toronto falls to 15-26.
Denver took the lead in the top of the fifth when Biederman hit a 3-run home run. His 9th home run of the season made the score 4-1, Denver.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Biederman. "And not try to do too much."
