Toronto third baseman Daniel Carrillo made his presence felt in the 8-7 Mounties triumph over the Houston Rangers. Carrillo was 2 for 2 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The win has Toronto at 24-40.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Richard Miller came to bat in the top of the 11th. Facing Houston pitcher Andy Urso, he hit a full count fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Toronto on top, 8-7.
