| Orange Earn 7-2 Home Win | Getting a good performance from first baseman Dave Tessier, the Orlando Orange defeated the San Antonio Wranglers, 7-2. Tessier went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4 for the Orange. Pierce Young, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. The win puts Orlando at 11-9.
With Orlando leading 3-0 in the bottom of the second, Tessier hit a sinker from Josh Moye for a grand slam home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Orange ahead, 7-0.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Tessier.
