| Critical Game 5 Goes to Host Pioneers, 4-3 | When the games really matter, the San Francisco Pioneers put on their best show, beating the Arlington Sentinels by a final score of 4-3. Francisco Lopez went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. San Francisco now leads Arlington 3-2 in the best-of-7 affair.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for San Francisco. That's when George Katsman hit a run-scoring double off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Willie Ayala to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Katsman.
