| On Road, Wranglers Top Marauders , 4-2 | San Antonio starter Matt Player pitched well against the Minneapolis Marauders at Marauders Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. Sergio Delgado picked up his 11th save of the season. San Antonio, at 16-20, holds down 4th place in the Independent South Division.
The result might have been different, had it not been for 30-year old first baseman Damien Baudouin. Baudouin had a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Wranglers ahead, 2-0. For the game, Baudouin had 1 double and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
"I thought we played a nice game," Baudouin told the San Antonio Herald. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
