| Wranglers Deal Evergeens 6-2 Defeat | San Antonio Wranglers starter Josh Moye was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Seattle Evergeens, 6-2. Moye, the winner, moves to 3-6. He threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 1 walk. The win makes San Antonio 26-34.
The Wranglers got a big at-bat from center fielder Ernesto de Leon. For the game, de Leon went 1-5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave San Antonio a 2-1 lead.
"You've got to ride the highs and the lows in baseball in order to succeed," de Leon told the San Antonio Herald. "Right now I'm feeling good, but that don't mean squat for tomorrow."
