Jackals Paddle Wranglers, 18-2 | Jacksonville laid the wood on San Antonio at Jackals Stadium.
A 5-RBI performance from first baseman Tony Rangel, who is tied for 7th in the IL with a .308 batting average, led the Jacksonville Jackals to a win over the San Antonio Wranglers, 18-2. The Jackals now have a record of 38-41 with the win over San Antonio.
Angelo Radilla had a big grand slam home run for the Jackals in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Jacksonville leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from Jake Neely, who is rated as the 10th best prospect by BNN, and punished it. The result was his 15th home run of the season, which put the Jackals on top, 7-0.
"You can't sugarcoat this one," said San Antonio manager David Fields. "They smoked us." | | | | |
