| Empire Lose at Home, 2-1 | Minneapolis registered a win at Empire Ballpark by beating the New York Empire, 2-1. Pitcher Travis Welker was one reason why the Marauders triumphed. Welker, now 6-3, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. B.J. Howe was called on to finish, recording his 20th save.
