| Wranglers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Marauders , 5-3 | San Antonio third baseman Daniel Richard made his presence felt in the 5-3 Wranglers triumph over the Minneapolis Marauders . Richard belted 2 home runs. San Antonio reliever Matt Peeples was the winner. His record is now 2-6. B.J. Howe took the loss. The save went to Sergio Delgado, his 20th this season.
Scott Minarcik came through with a big-time hit for San Antonio. The catcher smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Richard.
The loss makes Minneapolis 49-41.
