Portland Ducks starter Daryl Rich pitched his team past the San Francisco Pioneers, 2-0. The loss lowers the San Francisco record to 4-4.
Ricky Ramirez drove in one run for Portland . The 28-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Corey Gillis. It was his 1st RBI of the season.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Ramirez.
