The Leon Toltecs defeated the Toronto Mounties in 10 innings, 8-6, in part because of second baseman Savino Parenzan. Parenzan went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Toltecs. The last-place Mounties now sit at 23-40.

Leon used a timely hit from Jeremy Hill to get the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Toltecs ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a difference-maker.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Hill told the Leon Times. "But we take nothing for granted."
