No one was more impactful than Francisco Lopez in the 6-4 Portland win over Montreal. Lopez, who finished 4th in the IL in runs with 70 last year, was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times. Reliever Alex Lozano picked up the win. His record improves to 2-3. Zackery Stocker, who is a three-time Gold Glove Award winner, took the loss. Jim Bartholomew collected his 14th save.

Portland took control in the bottom of the seventh. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Ricardo de Leon hit a run-scoring single to make it 5-4, Ducks.

Portland manager David Fields commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
