The Leon Toltecs topped the Toronto Mounties by a score of 6-4. Leading the way was designated hitter Brian Kelly. Kelly was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Toltecs. Leon reliever Tony Galvez picked up the win, raising his record to 3-1. Richard Cruz was tagged with the loss. Ryan Struyk, who is tied for 6th in the UL in saves with 19, earned the save for Leon.

The Toltecs got a big hit from third baseman Walt Wilson. In the bottom of the sixth, Wilson smacked a 2-run double off Toronto pitcher Richard Cruz. It was his 14th double of the season. Suddenly, the Toltecs were ahead, 4-3.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Toronto manager David Fields. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."

The Toltecs saw their record improve to 39-51.
