| Chaidez Now 5-3 After Beating Mounties | The Chicago Hawks got a magnificent performance from pitcher Mario Chaidez, who muffled the Toronto offense en route to a tight, 2-0 Hawks win at Hawks Park. Jeff Slack earned the save for Chicago, his 19th. The Hawks, at 37-12, have now won 5 straight.
