Li Lays Hammer Down in 8-0 Win
The Montreal Mammoths went home winners at Mammoths Field, thanks in large part to starter Shan-bo Li. Li stifled the Chicago Hawks, enabling Montreal to grab the 8-0 win. The Mammoths, at 21-33, sit in 4th place in the United North Division.

Li earned the win to move to 4-3. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 2 hits, striking out 12 and walking 0. The right-hander allowed the Hawks few scoring opportunities.

"Shan-bo throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Montreal manager David Fields.
