Leon turned a good effort from starter Josh Thorp into a win over the Montreal Mammoths at Mammoths Field. The final score was 4-1. At 40-52, the Toltecs find themselves in last place in the United South Division.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Savino Parenzan? The 28-year old right fielder Parenzan stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put Leon up, 3-1. For the game, he was 2 for 3, including 1 double and 1 single.

"Josh's as tough as he is talented," said Leon manager David Fields.
