The timely hitting of Jose Olivas helped the Toronto Mounties down the Montreal Mammoths, 5-3. Olivas went 3 for 4 with a home run, a triple, and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for the Mounties. J.D. Dobson, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save. The victory puts Toronto at 20-35.

Carlos Reyes, who is tied for 10th in the UL in doubles with 14, helped out the Toronto cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk.

Reyes attributed the win to his team's "collective resolve."
