| Mammoths Come Back Late to Top Mounties, 9-6 | The Montreal Mammoths stopped the Toronto Mounties, 9-6, at Mammoths Field. The Mammoths got a big game from Jerry Yon, who went 1 for 2 with 3 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The Mammoths saw their win-loss record go to 31-53. At the same time, the Mounties fell to 27-57.
Nate Jones hit a run-scoring double off Luis Sepulveda in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Mammoths in front, 7-6. In addition to the double, Jones had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.
