Hawks Get Past Montreal, 3-2 | The Chicago Hawks extended their winning streak.
The Chicago Hawks faced a tough opponent in Montreal pitcher Bryan Kesling, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Hawks Park by a final score of 3-2. Kesling went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Chicago, at 60-20, is cruising.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Chicago. That's when Willis Servin hit a solo home run off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Bob McLendon to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
